Maritime Information System newsletter
The Maritime Information System (MIS) is being created jointly by Innovation maritime and SODES in conjunction with the five Canadian port authorities located in Québec, the Canadian Coast Guard, Transport Canada, Transport Québec and the Secrétariat aux affaires maritimes (Maritime Affairs Secretariat). The main goal is to set up a system to collate, process and disseminate data that is useful for marine-sector stakeholders. The project is being carried out under the auspices of the Marine Industry Forum and involves a number of partners who share their data, experience and expertise to offer an essential information tool to individuals interested in the marine sector’s development. The MIS takes the form of a centralized computer system that can be accessed via a web portal and that groups together various maritime transport-related statistics. Regularly updated new data will be added as time goes by. You can get a free trial of 2 days.
