News and EventsSubmit your nomination for the St.Lawrence Award now! SODES invites companies, public or parapublic organizations linked to the St.Lawrence or individuals working in the maritime industry to submit their nomination for the 18th edition of its St.Lawrence Award.
The St. Lawrence Award is given annually to recognize outstanding performances and projects that have helped promote the St. Lawrence and contributed to its economic development while respecting sustainable development principles. The award ceremony will take place during the closing cocktail on Quebec Marine Day (Tuesday, October 26, 2010) in the presence of numerous maritime industry and parliamentary representatives. SODES' new President comes into office SODES' Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Nicole Trépanier has been appointed President of the organization.
As Sodes President, Ms. Trépanier will work on priority files such as environmental regulations, the 10th annual Québec Marine Day, the Marine Industry Forum and the marine transport awareness campaign.
