More than 150 Québec marine industry representatives were at the Québec National Assembly on October 26 for the 10th edition of Québec Marine Day. The event, whose theme this year was “The Marine Industry: a Key Component of Sustainable Development”, is designed to make Québec’s elected officials’ aware of the marine industry’s significant contribution to sustainable development and to remind them and the public of the important role shipping plays in the economic development of Québec and its regions.
