SODES is a forum for discussion, consensus-seeking and action for stakeholders whose activities affect the St. Lawrence economy where cargo and passenger transportation, regional development and the environment are concerned.

Mission

Protect and promote the economic interests of the St. Lawrence maritime community from a sustainable development perspective.

Membership

SODES membership is very diverse and includes ports, terminals, a wide range of maritime companies, municipalities, government bodies, industries, groups and organizations involved in regional development, economic development agencies, consultants, and various maritime associations. Organizational structure

SODES operates through three entities: the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and the General Assembly of members. The Head Office team, which includes 4 employees, provides support for the work of these entities and oversees Sodes operations.
